OTTAWA LAKE, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's golf team finished 10th at the Lourdes Invitational held at The Legacy Golf Course in Ottawa Lake, Michigan, on Thursday. The Saints tallied a team score of 339 to claim their spot in the team standings.
Drew Grennes led SHU with a final score of 83 to tie for 52nd. Jakob Gross and Michael Rampe Jr. were just two strokes back with an 85 for 58th. Ben Armbruster recorded an 86 for 63rd, and Owen Bailey completed the scoring total with an 87 for 67th. Ryan Ward participated as an individual and registered an 82 to tie in 42nd on the leaderboard.
Madonna won the tournament with a 284. Lourdes claimed second place with a 295, while Lawrence Tech was third with a 299. Cleary fell fourth with a 304 ahead of Cornerstone, who had a 306 for fifth. Michigan-Dearborn shot a 311 to beat out Tiffin, who scored a 315. Alma was eighth, and Rochester ninth. Terra State Community College and Defiance rounded out the team standings in 11th and 12th.
