Men’s Golf Finishes 7th at WHAC Championship

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – The Siena Heights men's golf team finished seventh in the team standings with a three-round score of 939 after shooting 315 through the first two rounds before ending with a 309 after the third round.

Northwestern Ohio tied with Lawrence Tech to win the WHAC Championship with an 883. Aquinas fell to third with a 917, while Indiana Tech was fourth with a 919. Lourdes placed fifth with a 924, three strokes ahead of Madonna, who finished 927. The Saints finished ahead of Cleary with a 947, Cornerstone with a 955, UM-Dearborn with a 993, Concordia (Mich.) with a 998, and Rochester with 1076.

Benjamin Ellis led Siena Heights with a final score of 233 after rounds to tie for 23rd in the individual standings. Davis Longyear was 25th with a score of 234. Garrett Ramos scored a 238 to place 29th. Colin Duffy shot a 242 to tie for 36th, while Grady Morlock rounded out the SHU, scoring a 242 to tie for 36th.

This is the final tournament for the Siena men's golf team for the 2022 Spring season. The team will return to action in the Fall season of 2022.
