SHU Men's Golf Places 4th at Cleary Invitational

BRIGHTON, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's golf team totaled 322 as a team to finish fourth out of eight teams at the Cleary University Invitational on Monday afternoon. 

Michigan-Dearborn won the round with a 231. Lourdes was second with 310 while Madonna was third with a 315. The Saints were 11 strokes ahead of host Cleary who fell to fifth with a 333. Cornerstone was sixth with a 339. Mott CC was seventh with a 365 and St. Clair County  CC only had three golfers and therefore, no team score in the tournament.

Colin Duffy led Siena Heights with a +4 75 to place third in the individual standings. Benjamin Ellis tied for 11th with an 81 while David Longyear tied for 15th with an 82. Trent Moody was two strokes behind Longyear to tie for 21st and Garrett Ramos finished with an 85 to tie for 23rd.

Fall Season Wrap Up

The men's golf team wrapped up the Fall tournament season after the Cleary Invitational. The Saints won five tournaments as a team and accumulated three individual winners during the eight-tournament Fall slate.
