Men's Golf Wins Gray Wolf Invitational

SYLVANIA, Ohio -- The Siena Heights men's golf team finished atop the team standings at the Gray Wolf Invitational played at the Sylvania Country Club on Monday. The Saints won their second tournament of the Fall season as they finished eight strokes ahead of host Lourdes with a 302 to win the event. 

The Gray Wolves claimed second with a 310 while Concordia (Mich.) finished with a 338 to finish third. Cleary ended the team standings with a 341.

Benjamin Ellis led the way for the Saints with an even-par 72 to win the tournament as an individual. Trent Moody was three strokes behind for second place. Davis Longyear tied for third with a 76 . Colin Duffy was ninth with a 79. Garrett Ramos tied for 13th with an 83 to complete the Saints scoring tally. Jakob Gross tied for fifth with a 77 as he played individually. Ty Hozeska clocked in tied for 27th with an 89, Drew Grennes scored a 91 for 29th. Michael Rampe Jr. had a 98 for 37th and Drew Pitts finished things with a 111 for 38th.

The Saints travel back to Ohio on Saturday, October 16 to compete in the 36-hole Yellow Jacket Invitational at the Ironwood Golf Course in Wauseon, Ohio.
