AUGUSTA, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's golf team finished third with a total team score of 606 at the Lou Collins Memorial Classic hosted by Olivet College. The Saints led after day one with a team score of 299 but fell back two spots once the final day concluded after a team tally of 307.
Colin Duffy (Sr. | Pinckney, Mich.) finished third as an individual with a two-day score of 144 (70, 74). Davis Longyear (Jr. | South Bend, Ind.) tied for 22nd with a 152 (74, 78), while Trent Moody (Sr. | Monroe, Mich.) tied for 30th with a 154 (76,78). Benjamin Ellis (Fr. | Doylestown, Ohio) totaled 157 (79,78) to tie for 39th, and Garrett Ramos (Fr. | Adrian, Mich.) rounded out the scoring for the Saints with a 163 (86,77) to tie in 53rd.
The Saints will compete at the Yellow Jackets Military Appreciation Invitational in Defiance, Ohio, on Wednesday, September 8. The tournament begins at 10:00 a.m.
