BATTLE CREEK, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's golf team shot a team score of 321 (+33) to tie for 10th in the opening round of the O.C. Lou Collins Memorial Tour hosted by Olivet College at the Bedford Valley Country Club in Battle Creek, Michigan. Aaron Bitz (Monroe, Mich.) led the Saints with a first-round score of 79 (+7) to tie for 41st individually.

Drew Whalen (Tecumseh, Mich.) tallied a score of 80 (+8) to tie for 44th. James Monteith (Dearborn, Mich.) and James Kuenzer (Hillsdale, Mich.) tied for 47th with an 81 (+9). Colin Duffy (Pinckney, Mich.) rounded out the SHU scores with an 83 (+11) to tie 58th.

The second round of the tournament starts tomorrow morning at 9:00 a.m., EDT.
