KOKOMO, Ind. -- The Siena Heights men's golf team finished third in an eight-team field at the IU-Kokomo Invitational, on Friday and Saturday.

Aaron Bitz led the Saints with a 158 overall, shooting an 81 in round one and a five-over 77 in the second round, to finish tied for eighth. Finishing one stroke back was Nick Sanscrainte who finished in 11th with a 159 (80-79).

The last two scoring for SHU were Nick Burnham and Jimmy Monteith. Burnham finished with 160 (80-80) while Monteith had a 162 (80-82).

Overall, Siena Heights finished with a 639 two-round total, 321 in the first round and 318 in the second round, to finish third. IU-East won with a score of 619 (313-306) as Cincinnati Christian followed closely with a 623 (318-305).

Next up, the Saints will tracel to the Lawrence Tech Invitational, on Friday and Saturday.
