Men's Golf Places 14th at The Wildcat Cup

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- The Siena Heights men's golf team finished 14th in the 19-team, Wildcat Cup, hosted by Indiana Wesleyan at Brickyard Crossing on Tuesday, the first tournament of the Spring season.

The course was par 72 at 6,994 yards for an 18-hole round.

Nicklaus Zanotti was the top finisher for the Saints. Tying for 40th, Zanotti shot a two-round score of (73-79).

Only a couple strokes behind Zanotti, Joe Forest finished with a two-round score of 154 (79-75), to tie for 49th place.

Also for the Saints, Ian Martin and Robert Kowalenko ended with a 156, carding 75 & 81 on the first round and 81 & 75 on the second round, respectively.Both tied for 55th place.

Parker Ross compiled a two-round total of 158 (82-76) to tie for 71st place.

Siena Heights accumulated a two-round total of 613 (308-305). WHAC opponent Northwestern Ohio won the tournament with a two-round total of 588 (296-292).

The Saints will be back in action on Friday when they travel to Chemung Hills (Brighton, Mich.) to participate in the Cleary Invitational.
