Men's Golf in Seventh After First Two Rounds of WHACs

FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- The Siena Heights men's golf team sits in seventh place after day one of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Championships, which are taking place at Coyote Creek Golf Club. A total of 54 golfers from 11 schools are in the competition.

Nicklaus Zanotti was the Saints' top golfer through Thursday's two-round setup, finishing with a 36-hole total of 151 (74-77).

Tim Combs is tied for 16th with a 155 (75-80), Robert Kowalenko is tied for 21st with a 157 (78-79) and Joe Forest is tied for 28th with a 159 (80-79).

Nick Sanscrainte added a 164 (80-84) on day one for SHU.

The Saints have a team score of 622 (307-315).

Davenport leads the way in team competition with a 592 (298-294) while Cornerstone's Tyler Coyne is atop the individual leaderboard with a 143 (74-69).

The tournament will wrap up with the third round on Friday.
