Men's Bowling Finishes Sixth at WHAC 3

LANSING, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's bowling team finished with a team score of 6,722 to finish in sixth-place at the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) III tournament over the weekend.

Indiana Tech finished in first with 7,456 total pins. The Warriors led Lawrence Tech by 221 pins to claim the top spot in the team standings. Aquinas claimed the third position with 7,150 pins while Concordia (Mich.) tallied 7,093 pins for fourth. Madonna compiled 6,866 to slot fifth just above the Saints. Lourdes was seventh with 6,608, while Cornerstone (6,541), UM-Dearborn (6,355), and Cleary (6,030) rounded out the standing.

Sam Scheuher was the highest finisher for the Saints, with 863 pins in four games to place fourth in the individual standings. Sean Fitzgibbon also finished inside the top 50 with a 26th-place finish with his 773 total pins. Ryan Reid was the final SHU men's bowler in the top 50 as he was 39th with 733 pins.

The WHAC III is the final tournament for the Saints in 2021. The SHU men's bowling team will return to the lanes on Saturday, January 22, for the MSC Cincinnati Collegiate.
