Men's Bowling Finishes Second at Home Tournament

ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's bowling team finished second behind Spring Arbor in the SHU "Black and Blue Weekend" Tournament at the Lenawee Recreation Center on Friday and Saturday. The Saints accumulated 7,388 pins in the contest to claim the runner-up position.

The Cougars won the tournament with 7,629 pins. Adrian College finished behind Siena Heights with 7,079. Cornerstone fell to fourth with 6,917, while Grand Valley State was fifth with 6,644. Mid Michigan rounded out the men's team standings with a 6,451 pin total.

Ryan Reid led the charge for SHU with a third-place finish in the individual standings. Reid totaled 1,284 pins during the contest. Eric Lambert finished with 1,143 pins to claim 11th in the tournament. Noah Tafanelli tallied 1,073 for 17th while Bobby Burcar was 33rd with 796. Sean Fitzgibbon totaled 773 to finish 34th, and Sam Scheuher finished off the SHU scores with a 728 for 36th.

The Saints will take the rest of November off before returning to action in the WHAC #3 on Saturday, December 4.
