Men's Bowling Competes at AHIBC #3 and #4

WESTLAND, Mich. – At the third American Heartland Intercollegiate Bowling Conference Jamboree, the Siena Heights men's bowling team finished 18th out of 30 teams on Saturday. Sunday at the fourth American Heartland Intercollegiate Bowling Conference Jamboree, the Saints placed 19th out of 29 teams.

As a team, the men finished with scores of 731, 900, 798, 873 and 838. They also scored a 759, 684 and 699 in their baker games. The men finished with a total score of 6282

The Saints' top-finisher on the day was Zachary Colosimo who placed 61st out of 272 and had a total pin-fall of 919. Colosimo's highest game was a 226. Another top performer for the Saints was Steven Cadwell with a total pin-fall of 900 placing himself in 69th place.

Notre Dame won the tournament with a total overall score of 7511, including three top-ten finishers.

On day two the Saints placed 19th with scores of 880, 896, 848 and 845. They also scored 677, 604, 677 and 729 in their baker games.

The Saints' top-finisher on Sunday was Steven Cadwell, placing 17th. Cadwell had a total pin-fall of 817 with his highest game being a 219. Placing 61st was Zack Colosimo who had a total pin-fall of 743.

Notre Dame also claimed first place during the fourth AHIBC Jamboree with a total overall score of 7409.

Other Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference competitors included Concordia, Cornerstone, Davenport, Indiana Tech, Lawrence Tech and Madonna.

SHU will return to action on Saturday, February 4, at the fourth WHAC Jamboree.
