Men’s Bowling Places Sixth at WHAC #2

ADRIAN, Mich. – The hosting Siena Heights men's bowling team placed sixth in an eight team field at the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference's second jamboree of the season Saturday at Lenawee Recreation Bowling Center in Adrian, Mich.

The Saints were never able to pull-off a great set, as their high five-game team total stood at 960 and their high four-game baker set was only 784.

Freshman Will Shaffran was top-finisher for SHU, as he placed third overall with an 855 four-game series (213.75 average). Sophomore Steven Cadwell was the only other Saint in the top-25, placing 21st with a 739 four-game series (184.75 average).

Concordia won the jamboree, finishing 91-pins above second-place Lawrence Tech with a 7,032 total. Northwestern Ohio's Chandler Stevens was the top-bowler in the field individually finishing with a 904 (226.0).

The Saints will have a three-week break before the third WHAC jamboree of the season, Dec. 5, at Thunderbowl in Ft. Wayne, Ind.
