ADRIAN, MICH. -- The Siena Heights men's basketball team defeated Rochester 71-62 in WHAC action Wednesday evening. The leading scorer for SHU was Colin Nutter with 20 points and also tallied a double-double coming down with 11 rebounds. Shawn Brown also had a solid evening with 11 points and eight rebounds. Also in double figures was Jonas Tester with 11 points and Delano Williams with 10 points. Off the bench, Max Moratinos contributed with 11 points and three rebounds. 

In the first half, SHU and Rochester were trading blows as SHU's largest lead of the first half was six points at 20-14. At halftime, SHU found themselves down one point at halftime trailing 29-28. 

In the second half, the Saints started out hot as they started the half on a 14-3 run to go up 42-32. However, Rochester did not go away as they pulled to within three at 51-48 with just under seven and a half minutes remaining. The Saints were able to hang on as they came out victorious as Jonas Tester came up with a steal to end the game for SHU.  

On the evening, SHU shot 49.1% from the floor, 33.3% from three, outrebounded Rochester 34-28, and forced nine turnovers. 

SHU will play next on Saturday, February 17th, at 3 PM for the final home game of the regular season vs Concordia.
