ADRIAN-Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's basketball team defeated East-West on Saturday, and won 71-58. Jonas Tester led the Saints in points with 15 points and four rebounds. Off the bench, Jonny Bowers had a double double on the afternoon, with 13 points and 11 rebounds. 

The game started out slow with no points in the first five minutes, until Jonas Tester took the lid off the rim to put the Saints up 2-0. The Saints were up 7-6 in a defensive struggle until the Saints went on a 13-2 run to go up 20-8 with 8:16 left in the first half. To end the half, the defense was stifling, only allowing 18 points, leading at the half 28-18. 

In the second half, the Saints had a 61-44 lead with 3:30 left to go in the game, until East-West started their own run to claw back into the game. East-West pulled to within six as they went on a 12-1 run with 1:09 left in the game, that was until the Saints made their own push to end the game, as Jonas Tester sealed the deal as he made the layup to put the Saints up 71-58 to come out victorious. 

On the afternoon, the Saints shot 42.6% from the field, 35.7% from three, and dominated the glass with 52 rebounds.
