CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio. -- The Siena Heights men's basketball team opened the season at non-conference opponent Ohio Christian and came out victorious 68-63 on Saturday, November 4th. Delano Williams took charge for the Saints with 20 points, four assists, and six rebounds. Brent Wiles and Shawn Brown also led the Saints with Wiles scoring 13 points, and Brown scoring 11. Brown also tallied the day with assists for the Saints with five. 

Off of the bench, Colin Nutter scored 10 points with six rebounds. The Saints also shot the ball effectively, shooting 53.1% from the field, and 35.7% from three. 

In the first half, the Saints jumped out to a nine point 37-28 lead at the half. In the second half, the Saints extended their lead to 47-35, which was their largest lead of the game. Ohio Christian went on a 16-7 run to pull with in three points. After the run by Ohio Christian, the Saints responded with a 6-0 run to go up 60-51 with 3:30 left to go in the game. From there on the Saints were able to hold on for the victory, winning 68-63. 

Next Up, The Siena Heights Men's Basketball team will travel to SYLVANIA, Ohio. to play Lourdes on Wednesday, November, 15th, at 7:30 PM.
