SHU Men's Basketball Stumbles Against Indiana Tech

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Siena Heights men's basketball team competed in a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference game on the road against, the Indiana Tech Warriors. The Saints Stumbled against the Warriors falling 60-74.

Colin Nutter led SHU with 16 points and seven rebounds, going 7-12 from the field. Senior Curtis Bell III collected 15 points, eight rebounds, and three assists. Davin Walker earned 13 points on top of three assists and one block. Siena tallied 13-17 from the line, for a free throw percentage of 76.5 and picked up 31 total rebounds.

Nutter scored first for Siena Heights earning the team's first two points of the game. SHU allowed the Warriors to go up 24-36 in the first half. Creating a gap in the score that would challenge the Saints later in the night.

SHU returned to the court netting seven points in the first three minutes of the second half. The Saints remained tight with Indiana Tech during the second but ultimately could not overcome the point difference from the first half.

SHU remains on the road as the team travels to Aquinas College on Saturday, November 12 for a 3:00 PM game.
