Davin Walker shot 2-3 in three-point attempts bringing down eight points while adding two rebounds and three assists to the Saints stats.

Max Moratinos started the game with a layup for the Saints and putting the first points on the board. The teams traded layups during the first four minutes while the two teams took time to figure each other out. The Gray Wolves found their groove first and put up a quick 11 points within four minutes. Kevin Rice brought down a three-pointer for SHU breaking Lourdes's run although not detoured LU continued to put up points adding an additional 11 points to their score. Lacking energy, the Saints were looking to find their rhythm and a huge block from Max Moratinos gave Siena the energy they needed. With five minutes remaining the blue and yellow tallied seven points bringing the score to 33-22 going into the half, Saints trailing the Gray Wolves.

Coming into the second half, the first basket was made by the Saint's own Curtis Bell III. Boasting SHU into a beautiful run of eight points, closing in on Lourdes University. Kevin Rice stepped up to knock down a massive three-pointer to give the blue and yellow much-needed energy and confidence. LU continued to play their game all the while Siena Heights University chipped away slowly at the Gray Wolves' lead. With back-to-back dunks from each team, both resulted in technical fouls. The game continued with the Saints nipping at the heels of the Gray Wolves. Until with only 1 minute and thirty seconds left, Davin Walker puts down a three-point jumper to bring the score gap within one possession. Then with a layup from Curtis Bell III the SHU Fieldhouse erupted into cheer, with every person in attendance standing on their feet. Only four seconds left in the game a full timeout is called by Lourdes. Unfortunately coming out of the timeout Lourdes Universities Joey Holifield made a jumper all the while being fouled by Davin Walker of the Saints. Knocking down the extra point Joey Holifield sealed the victory for the Lourdes University Gray Wolves, ending the game 60-57.
