Adrian, Mich. – The Siena Heights men's basketball team fell at home against Concordia University-Ann Arbor, Monday night in the SHU Fieldhouse, with a final score of 66-60. A tough defensive battle that led to 16 lead changes and 10 tied scores, throughout the match.

Kevin Rice paved the way for the Saints putting up 19 points with four rebounds and one block. Kiewuan Graham added his 12 points to the score also bringing down three rebounds and contributing one assist. Curtis Bell III was the third double-digit scorer with 11 points, nine rebounds, two steals, and one block. Davin Walker shot 3-4 from the field, putting up eight points while racking up five rebounds and two steals.

The first half started with an early lead by SHU, putting up a quick five points to take the lead. When Cardinals caught up and the battle for control began, the game continued with passing baskets back and forth. Concordia found a small groove to put four points on the board. Only for the blue and yellow to answer back with a four-point run of their own tying the game at 19-19, with only seven minutes left in the half. The fight to create a score gap carried on, as free throws and layups made up most of the scoring baskets. Late in the half, Siena Heights was able to create space and find their pace leading the Cardinals into the half, 35-33.

Coming out of the locker room after the half, the race continued neck and neck with one team scoring than the other. The lead changed eight times in the first seven minutes of the second half. Until SHU was able to once again create a little wiggle room in the score distancing themselves by four points. A three-point shot from CUAA's Matt Lockhart turned the tides in favor of the Cardinals. Allowing them enough momentum to pull away from the Saints and maintain the lead for the last eight minutes of the game. Siena saw crucial layups made by both Kevin Rice and Curtis Bell III to bring the score within one possession. But time was not on SHU's side, running out and leaving the Saints trailing 66-60 for the final score.
