ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's basketball team dropped an 88-60 decision to 25th-ranked Cornerstone in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) play on Saturday inside the SHU Fieldhouse. Bell III hit a layup that cut the deficit in half before Graham hit a layup on the next possession that sparked a 5-0 run for SHU and gave the home team a 7-6 advantage. The Golden Eagles then made three jumpers from distance during an 11-0 run to push the game to its first double-digit lead, 17-7, with 13:21 left in the opening half. Both teams traded 5-0 runs to keep the margin at 10 (22-12) in favor of Cornerstone. Trevon Montgomery hit a dunk off a steal that ignited a 7-0 run by the Saints as they trimmed the lead to just three points with 9:30 left before the intermission. Back-to-back three-point jumpers by the Golden Eagles increased the lead to nine points (28-19). The deficit increased with Cornerstone's 12-0 run that moved the advantage to 40-22 with just under three minutes left on the clock in the first. Graham hit a three that put the score at 46-28 as the teams entered the locker room.

The visitors continued to lean on the three-point jumper as the Golden Eagles hit four-straight shots from beyond the arc to begin the second half. The second of those opening shots started a 13-0 run that expanded the lead to 62-34. Cornerstone finished the game 13-27 from three while shooting over 50% from the floor.
