WINONA LAKE, Ind. -- The Siena Heights men's basketball team fell on the road at Grace 89-60 in the season opener. The Saints (0-1) struggled shooting from the floor with 31% (19-61) shooting as a team, while the Lancers shot 62% for the evening.

Three Saints scored double-digit points, with Curtis Bell III leading the way with 13 points on 4-8 shooting from the floor. Kevin Rice and Kiewuan Graham each scored 11 points. Fred Greer had a team-high six rebounds while scoring six points. Elijah Kimmons tallied nine points, while Davin Walker netted seven points. Luis Young led SHU with three assists. Young also hauled in two rebounds and two steals.

Grace scored the game's first 15 points in the opening seven minutes of play, and the Lancers would never look back on the way to the win. The lead grew to 24 points when the teams entered the locker room at the half as the score sat at 47-23 in favor of the home team.

The Saints cut the lead to 15, but the deficit was too much to overcome as the Lancers continued to push the advantage further as the second half progressed.
