ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's basketball dropped their final conference game of the season to Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) opponent Rochester on Wednesday night. DeMarco Dickerson (Senior, Detroit, Mich.) led the Saints with 28 points, a team-high of nine rebounds, and two assists.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Warriors jumped out to an 11-3 lead after a three-point shot was good by Cap Wilson at the 16:51 mark. The Saints took the lead (15-14) as Anthony Duncan (Freshman, Kissimmee, Fla.) made a layup with 13:24 on the clock. Rochester would regain the lead (20-18) after a three-point shot was made by Federico Gallinario with 10:23 left on the clock. Neither team would lead each other by two points as the score remained close with many possession changes. Siena gained a seven-point lead (37-30) as Jon Hovermale (Senior, Livonia, Mich.) made a three-point shot with 2:02 remaining in the first half. The Warriors cut the deficit to five points (35-40) as Noah Holly made a layup as the game went into intermission.
Siena opened the second half with a 9-0 run giving them a 14-point lead (49-35) at the 16:42 mark. Rochester updated the score to 53-55 after Andre Johnson made a three-point shot and Wilson made a free throw with 12:09 on the clock. The Saints gained some cushion with a seven-point lead (62-55) after Dickerson got fouled and made triple free throws with 9:32 remaining. The Warriors rallied as they took the lead 65-64 after a layup was good by Campbell with 4:26 remaining of play. Siena cut the deficit to one point (70-69) after a layup was good by Keith Jordan Jr. (Senior, Toledo, Ohio) with 1:05 left in the game. Noah Kelly got fouled and made triple free throws to close the deal for Rochester giving them the 73-69 victory.
TOP SAINTS
• Dickerson went 10-19 from the floor, 3-8 from beyond the arch, and 5-6 from the charity stripe.
• Jordan tallied 15 points, seven rebounds, and one block. He went 5-7 from the floor, 2-2 on three-point attempts, and 3-4 on free-throw attempts.
• PJ Austin (Senior, Cleveland, Ohio) contributed nine points and three rebounds. He went 3-7 from the floor, 1-4 from beyond the arch, and 2-2 from the charity stripe.
• Hovermale had a team-high of four assists. Kevin Rice (Junior, Detroit, Mich.) had a team-high of three blocks.
THE OPPOSITION
• Wilson led the Warriors with 23 points, two rebounds, one assist, and two steals. He went 8-13 from the floor, 4-7 on three-point attempts, and 3-5 on free-throw attempts.
• Peter Agba earned 14 points, six rebounds, one assist and steal. He went 5-10 from the floor and a perfect 4-4 from the charity stripe.
• Noah Holly tallied 11 points, five rebounds, and one block. He went 3-5 from the floor, 2-2 from beyond the arch, and 3-4 on free-throw attempts.
• Armand Cartwright had a team-high of eight rebounds, Campbell had a team-high of six assists, and Andrew Kline had a team-high of three steals.
UP NEXT
With the Saints' loss tonight they are locked into being the seventh seed of the WHAC Tournament that starts Wednesday, February 26th. They will travel to face the number two seed of the tournament while the opponent and time will be announced Saturday night after the conclusion of the final WHAC matchups of the season.
