Adrian, Mich. -- Siena Heights men's basketball team defeated Aquinas this afternoon by a score of 63-53.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Siena Heights started off to a slow start as they were down 9-0 in the first half and didn't score till 7 minutes into the game. But the Saints turned it around quickly to make up the deficit. Josh Winowiecki led the SHU in the first half by scoring 8 points and going 2-2 at the free throw line. Siena was able to make a comeback and go ahead to the AQ Saints before halftime.

The second half of the game was a much better shooting Saints team. SHU shot 55.6% FG and also controlled the boards as they outrebounded Aquinas 20-10. In the second part of the game DeMarco Dickerson had 12 points and 4 rebounds to help the Saints win.

• Winowiecki finished with 11 points and 5 rebounds

• Dickerson had 15 points and 1 steal

THE OPPOSITION

• Jesse Hillis came off the bench to score 24 points for Aquinas
