Men's Basketball Slated Seventh in 2018 WHAC Preseason Poll

The Siena Heights men's basketball team was chosen seventh in the 2018 Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Preseason Poll as announced by the league office on Thursday.

Indiana Tech topped the poll with seven first-place votes and 115 total points. Cornerstone was second with three first-place votes and 108 points. Rochester tallied the final first-place vote and 96 points for the third spot. 

Madonna was fourth with 89 points followed by Aquinas in fifth with 73. UM-Dearborn was one point behind Aquinas with 72. The Saints fell in at seventh with 48 points. Concordia (37), Lourdes (36), UNOH (32), and Lawrence Tech (20) rounded out the poll.

Siena finished seventh in the WHAC last season with a 7-13 conference mark. The Saints kick off their season at home on Saturday, October 27 when they host Bethel (Ind.) for a 5:00 p.m., tip-off.
