Men's Basketball Enters Second Half of Season Against Concordia and Michigan-Dearborn

THE GAMES
The Siena Heights men's basketball team begins the second half of the season with two Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference contests, facing Aquinas on Wednesday at 8 p.m. and Michigan-Dearborn on Saturday at 3 p.m.

SHU is currently 7-11 overall and 3-8 in the WHAC. Last Saturday, the Saints fell to No. 5 Indiana Tech, 74-63, in a WHAC match-up. Siena Heights was led by Nick Randle with 20 points and three assists. As a team, the Saints average 69.1 points per game with a .461 shooting percentage, .317 three-point percentage and .683 free throw percentage.

Aquinas holds an 11-10 record with 7-4 conference slate. Recently, the AQ Saints defeated Rochester 67-55. AQ averages 71.1 points a game while managing a .466 field goal percentage, .369 three-point percentage and .643 free throw percentage.

With a 12-10 record and a 7-5 WHAC slate, Michigan-Dearborn faces Rochester Wednesday, prior to meeting SHU on Saturday. Last time out, the Wolverines fell to Lourdes 59-49. UM-Dearborn manages 75.5 points per game while holding a .461 shooting percentage, .346 three-point percentage and a .602 free throw percentage.

PLAYERS TO WATCH
Leading the SHU Saints with 14.1 points per game and 7.7 rebounds per game is Tony Jackson II. Keith Jordan Jr. and Nick Randle each average 11.9 points per game, while Randle leads SHU with 3.1 assists a game.

Aquinas is led by Aresenio Arrington with 16.2 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game. Managing 9.4 points per game and 2.9 rebounds a game.

The Wolverines are led by Jason Penn, who scores an average of 15.6 points per game and 8.5 rebounds a game. Next up for Michigan-Dearborn, Mafiaion Joyner averages 12.6 points per game and 5.0 rebounds per game. Ashton Curd and Xavier Crofford each average in double-digits per game.
