DETROIT, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's basketball team lost to Marygrove, 84-73, in a WHAC contest on Saturday.

The Saints started out the first strong leading 31-28 at halftime. Marygrove came out strong the second half and outscored SHU 56-42.

Leading SHU was Jerrell Martin with 30 points and nine rebounds. George Goodman finished the night with 14 points, seven assists and six rebounds.

Nate Taylor put-up 34 points, 14 rebounds and two assists for the Mustangs (4-20, 4-12)

Overall, the Saints shot 26-70 (37.1 percent) from the field while Marygrove shot 31-63 (49.2 percent) from the floor.

Siena Heights ( (9-15, 5-11) will be back in action on Wednesday, Feb. 03, for a WHAC contest at Cornerstone. Tip-off is set for 8 p.m.
