MAIMI GARDENS, Fla. -- The Siena Heights men's basketball team dropped a 74-71 non-conference decision to Southeastern (Fla.), on Tuesday.
Siena Heights was trailing 38-22 at halftime.
With seven minutes remaining in the game, George Goodman tied it up for SHU with a three-pointer to make it 58-58. Southeastern (7-5) went on a 10-1 run to take the lead from the Saints for good.
Goodman led the Saints (5-10) with 27 points, shooting 10-17 (58.8 percent). Myles Copeland scored 14 points whilt Trevor Holston grabbed 10 rebounds and added eight points.
SEU's leading scorer was Elijah Ray with 26 points.
Overall, the Saints finished 28-57 (49.1 percent) from the field while Southeastern finished 28-52 (53.8 percent).
The Saints will be in action tomorrow, Wednesday, to take on Saint Thomas (Fla.) for a 7 p.m. tip-off.
