Men's Hoops Cruises Past Akron-Wayne

ADRIAN, Mich. -- Four Saints scored in double-digits to lift the Siena Heights men's basketball team past Akron-Wayne, 95-65, in a non-conference game, on Saturday.

Siena Heights scored the first basket and kept the lead for the entire match.

Tony Jackson earned a double-double for the Saints, with 14 points and 12 rebounds. The leading scorer for Siena Heights was Myles Copeland, who scored 20 points, grabbed six rebounds, and had three blocks. Michael Fomby added 18 points and seven assists for SHU, while Stone Beckwith put up 15 points.

For the Warriors, Demetrius Ray was the leading scorer with 19 points, seven rebounds and three assists.

The Saints (4-4, 2-2) will be back in action at Davenport, on Wednesday. Tip-off will be at 7:30 p.m.
