Rob Thornbladh enters his fifth season as apart of the Siena Heights Football Program, after helping start the program in 2011 season.

Thornbladh  attended Fork Union Military Academy immediately after high school to play football in 2005. He started all 15 games with playing time at inside linebacker and fullback. Following prep school, Thornbladh was recruited at fullback as a preferred walk-on at the University of Michigan. For two seasons, he was coached by Lloyd Carr. Thornbladh did not see any game action while at Michigan. 

After playing football, Thornbladh stayed involved by coaching at the high school level. From 2008 to 2010, he coached for Ypsilanti Lincoln High School at all levels. He was the defensive coordinator for the freshman/junior varsity levels and has coached inside linebackers for the varsity. He then coached and helped start the program at siena heights from 2011 to 2014 as an GA/assistant coach for the football team. He focused primarily on the outside linebacker position. After earning his Masters from Siena Heights he went into sales while coaching at the high school Level. 2016 with Ypsilanti Lincoln High School and 2017 with Dexter High School.

Thornbladh currently resides in Ann Arbor with his wife Ashton. Thornbladh played his prep football at Ann Arbor Pioneer, where he was an all-state player in football, hockey and lacrosse. Thornbladh received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan in 2011, where he majored in General Studies. He completed his Master’s degree in 2015 from Siena Heights University in organizational leadership.

Thornbladh is responsible for recruiting the state of Ohio.
