BILLINGS, Mont. -- Siena Heights grad Armand Childs has signed a professional contract with the Billings Outlaws of the Arena Football League.

Childs was an All-MSFA Mideast First Team defensive back for the Saints in 2022. He will be a two-way player at DB and wide receiver for the Outlaws.

Childs transferred to SHU after four seasons at NCAA Division II Kentucky Wesleyan. In his one year with the Saints, Childs had 26 tackles, including three for-loss, and three interceptions. He also had seven pass breakups and blocked one kick.

In five years as a collegian, Childs totaled 181 tackles, 8 1/2 for-loss, and a half-sack. he finished with eight interceptions, 34 passes defended and two fumble recoveries.

Billings plays in the AFL West Division and will have games shown on ESPN+, Sling and Amazon.
