The Siena Heights football team was ranked fifth among eight teams on the Mid-States Football Association preseason coaches poll.

The Saints are coming off a 6-4 season and 4-3 record in MSFA Mideast play. They tied for third in the division in 2022.

Key returners for SHU include a pair of All-MSFA Mideast First Team defensive linemen, Antonio Simley and Joe Wharton. Wide receiver Eric Williams II was an All-MSFA Mideast honorable mention.
