The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2023 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes award.  The Siena Heights Football Program had eighteen student-athletes earn this distinction.

In order to be nominated for the NAIA Scholar-Athlete, an individual must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport, and have attended two full years as a non-transfer or one full year as a transfer.

Wadiah Lakotas (1^st time), sophomore, accounting major from Toledo, Ohio

Joshua Mack (1^st time), sophomore, business major from Napoleon, Ohio

Nik Martin (2^nd time), senior, business major from Fort Wayne, Indiana

Justin McCown (4^th time), senior, business major from Sterling Heights, Michigan

Zack Mullins (1^st time), junior, business major from Macomb, Michigan

Bobby Opalewski (1^st time), junior, criminal justice major from Lapeer, Michigan
