Siena Heights football player Clarke Hamilton was named Mid-States Football Association Mideast Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league on Monday.

Hamilton totaled six tackles, including 2 1/2 sacks, in the Saints' 24-21 win over 12th-ranked Concordia on Saturday. Hamilton also had an interception.
