The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2021 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes and NAIA Scholar Team awards.  The Siena Heights Football Program had nine student-athletes earn these distinctions.

In order to be nominated for the NAIA Scholar-Athlete, an individual must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport, and have attended two full years as a non-transfer or one full year as a transfer.

For a team to be awarded, they must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale for the academic year.

Earning the award for the Saints was:

Kendrick Green (2^nd time), senior, accounting major from Flint, Michigan

Cole LaFave (2^nd time), junior, business major from Rochester, Michigan

Jacob Lederman (2^nd time), junior, business major from Grand Blanc, Michigan

Andrew Loria (2^nd time), graduate student, business major from Sterling Heights, Michigan

Andrew Lyons (1^st time), junior, criminal justice major from Flint, Michigan

Justin McCown (1^st time), junior, business major from Sterling Heights, Michigan

Kole Murlin (1^st time), junior, education major from Celina, Ohio

Alec Thelen (1^st time), junior, business major from Pewamo Westphalia, Michigan

Grant Vermilya (1^st time), junior, education major from Perrysburg, Ohio
