The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2021 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes and NAIA Scholar Team awards. The Siena Heights Football Program had nine student-athletes earn these distinctions.
In order to be nominated for the NAIA Scholar-Athlete, an individual must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport, and have attended two full years as a non-transfer or one full year as a transfer.
For a team to be awarded, they must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale for the academic year.

Cole LaFave (2nd time), junior, business major from Rochester, Michigan
Jacob Lederman (2nd time), junior, business major from Grand Blanc, Michigan
Andrew Loria (2nd time), graduate student, business major from Sterling Heights, Michigan
Andrew Lyons (1st time), junior, criminal justice major from Flint, Michigan
Justin McCown (1st time), junior, business major from Sterling Heights, Michigan
Kole Murlin (1st time), junior, education major from Celina, Ohio
Alec Thelen (1st time), junior, business major from Pewamo Westphalia, Michigan
Grant Vermilya (1st time), junior, education major from Perrysburg, Ohio
