KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced Tuesday the 2020 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes and NAIA Scholar Team awards. The Siena Heights Football Program had seven student-athletes earn this distinction.
In order to be nominated for the NAIA Scholar-Athlete, an individual must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport, and have attended two full years as a non-transfer or one full year as a transfer.
Earning the award for the Saints was:
Justin Carrabino – senior, mechanical engineering major from Monroe, Michigan
Andrew Loria – senior, business major from Sterling Heights, Michigan
Nicholas Pagano – senior, business administration major and political science minor from South Lyon, Michigan (his second time earning this award)
Kendrick Green – junior, political science and spanish major from Grand Blanc, Michigan
Tyler Knecht – junior, business major and finance minor from Kings Mills, Ohio
Cole LaFave – junior, business administration major and finance minor from Rochester, Michigan
Jacob Lederman – junior, business major from Goodrich, Michigan
