MSFA Honors Tanguay as Special Teams Player of the Week

Siena Heights football kicker Brady Tanguay has been honored as the Mid-States Football Association Mideast League Special Teams Player of the Week, as announced Monday, for his efforts in the Saints 30-0 victory over Missouri Baptist.

Tanguay managed a perfect game, going 3-for-3 in field goals and 3-for-3 in PATs to earn 12 of the Saints' 30 points. He also sent one through the uprights from 43 yards away to break the previous Siena Heights record of 41 yards, held by Tanguay and Victor Brodie.

This is the second time Tanguay has been honored by the MSFA this season and third overall.

SHU will return to action on Saturday, Oct. 7, when the Saints travel to Taylor (Ind.) for a 1 p.m. MSFA Mideast League kickoff.
