Six Football Players Named Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes

Six Siena Heights football team members were named Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes, as announced by the governing body recently.

Two-time NAIA honorees include seniors Jordan Riley and Stefan Wilkinson. Riley majors in sport management while Wilkinson studies mathematics.

Studying law & politics, senior Martin Giannola was a first-time recipient of this honor.

Juniors earning this award are Braelen Bader, Zachary Flack and Brad Harrah. Bader studies art while Flack and Harrah both major in business administration.

All six athletes were also recognized as Mid-States Football Association Scholar-Athletes.

In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status. In the NAIA, 325 men received this award.
