Riley Earns MSFA Mideast League Special Teams Weekly Honors

Siena Heights football's senior kick returner Jordan Riley earned the Mid-States Football Association Mideast League Special Teams Player of the Week award for his efforts in the season finale 59-14 loss against No. one-ranked Marian (Ind.), as announced by the league on Monday.

Riley finished the game with a total of 208 kick-return yards on seven returns for the Saints.

During the contest, Riley set a new school record for SHU with a 100 yard kick-return for a touchdown. The record was previously a 99 yard return set by Tracy Mayes in 2012 against Taylor (Ind.).

For the 2016 season, Riley has had 20 returns for 597 yards and one touchdown to finish with an average of 29.9 yards per return.
