THE GAME
The Siena Heights football team will host No. 5 Saint Francis (Ind.) in a Mid-States Football Association Mideast League game on October 8, for the Annual Siena Heights Homecoming. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.

The Saints are coming off of a 30-29 upset over 17th-ranked Saint Xavier. SHU came back in the final drive of the game, with Brady Tanguay sending the game-winnig PAT through the uprights with 0:13 left in the fourth quarter. Since the game, SXU has dropped out of the NAIA Top-25 while the Saints move up to receiving-votes in the NAIA.

Siena Heights fell 49-25 in the 2015 contest against USF. The Saints out-passed the Cougars, 323-225, but significantly trailed in the running game, 227-64. Saint Francis scored five rushing touchdowns while earning two TDs in the air.

SHSN will provide live video for each Saints' home game. Play-by-play will be called by Chris Renwick with Doug Goodnough providing color commentary. Renwick is in his first year with the Saints broadcast team while Goodnough resumes his role in SHSN after a year hiatus.

SHSN and WLEN 103.9 FM have also enjoyed a five-year partnership. All games will be audio-streamed online at WLEN.COM while select games will be broadcasted live on the radio.

NEXT UP
The Saints will travel to Taylor (Ind.) to take on the Trojans in their Homecoming game. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 15, for the MSFA Mideast Leadue contest.

Taylor is currently 2-4 overall and 0-2 in the conference, defeating newcomer Davenport and Olivet Nazarene (Ill.). The Trojans will face NAIA top-ranked Marian (Ind.) on Saturday, Oct. 8.
