THE GAME
The Siena Heights football team will play its fourth home game of the 2014 regular season when Taylor visits O'Laughlin Stadium on Oct. 25 for a 1 p.m. kickoff. The contest is a Mid-States Football Association Mideast League game.

THE SERIES
This is the third meeting between SHU and Taylor. The teams have split the previous two contests with the home team winning each time.

On Sept. 29, 2012, the Saints defeated Taylor, 28-14. The following year, on Oct. 26, 2013, the Trojans exacted revenge with a 21-7 decision.

THE COACHES
Jim Lyall (Michigan '74) is in his fourth season as head coach for Siena Heights, where he now has a 12-14 varsity record. He is 116-106-1 all-time as a collegiate varsity football coach. During SHU's 2011 club season, Lyall went 8-1. He was previously the head coach at Adrian, where he compiled a 103-92-1 varsity slate.

Ron Korfmacher (Taylor '85) is in his seventh year as head coach for Taylor. He is 33-35 all-time as a collegiate varsity football coach. Korfmacher has been on the Trojans' coaching staff for 28 years, including stints coaching the quarterbacks, running backs and defensive backs, as well as being the offensive coordinator.

The Buckeye Cable Sports Network will also be on hand for three SHU home games in 2014 -- an agreement which began with the Saints' matchup against Olivet Nazarene (Ill.) on Sept. 27. BCSN will return to O'Laughlin for Siena Heights' games against Taylor, Ind. (Oct. 25) and Robert Morris, Ill. (Nov. 8).

NEXT UP

The Fighting Saints dropped their last contest to Saint Francis (Ind.), 42-20, and fell from 18th to 25th on the NAIA poll. Saint Francis (Ill.) hosts 16th-ranked Marian on Oct. 25 for a 2 p.m. start (1 p.m. CST).
