eSports Finishes Seventh in WHAC after Spring Championships

HOWELL, Mich. -- The Siena Heights eSports team finished the 2022-23 school year in seventh out of eight teams in the WHAC standings after the conference held its League of Legends and Overwatch tournaments over the weekend.

The Saints were eliminated in the tournament quarterfinals of both games. The SHU LoL squad fell to eventual LoL Tournament champs Cleary, 2-0. In Overwatch, the Saints dropped a 3-0 contest to conference runner-up Rochester, 3-0.

Siena Heights finished the school year with 12 points, earning seven in Rocket League and then 2 1/2 in both League of Legends and Overwatch.

Cleary claimed the overall WHAC eSports championship.

Siena Heights' Carlos Vazquez Ramos was named to the WHAC Champions of Character Team.
