10th-Ranked Rocket League Goes 2-1 in Weekend Games

ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights eSports Rocket League team entered the weekend ranked 10th in the nation (USA and Canada). The team won two of the three games they played on Sunday evening. 

The first team they faced was No. 11 Illinois State. The Saints won game one by a score of 4-2. They completed the series sweep with a 2-1 win in overtime in game two.

Next was eighth-ranked Ball State, Siena took the 1-0 lead with a 4-1 win in game one. The Cardinals would tie things up with a 3-1 win in game two before the Saints finished the series with a 2-1 overtime win in the deciding game.

The final series of the day was against the defending Collegiate Rocket League National Champions and ninth-ranked LSU. The Tigers swept Siena with a 3-1 game one decision and a 2-0 game two win.

The team will be back in action next Sunday, October 7 from 3-6:00 p.m.
