The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2023 Competitive Dance Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes. The Siena Heights Competitive Dance Program had six student-athletes earn this distinction.
In order to be nominated for the NAIA Scholar-Athlete, an individual must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport, and have attended one full year.
Earning the award for the Saints was:
Sydney Bramlett (3rd time), senior, theatre major from Belleville, Michigan
Zain Khankan (1st time), senior, biology major and chemistry minor from Varese, Italy
Haylee Miller (1st time), sophomore, elementary education major from Hillsdale, Michigan
Logan Richardson (2nd time), senior, nursing major and theatre minor from Davison, Michigan
Sierra Tennyson (2nd time), junior, theatre major from Howell, Michigan
Amber Woollcot (1st time), junior, theatre major from Grand Blanc, Michigan
