Robinson Named WHAC Newcomer of the Year; Six Dancers Honored on All-WHAC Team

The Siena Heights competitive cheer team had four players honored on the All-Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference teams, including Kaya Robinson, who was named Newcomer of the Year during the WHAC Championships on Friday at Madonna.

Seniors Sydney Bramlett and Logan Richardson were selected to the All-WHAC First Team while Robinson, Olivia Fortress, Rafe Jacobs and Ayanna Johnson were named to the Second Team.

Bramlett is now a two-time All-WHAC First Team honoree, having been named to the squad in both 2022 and 2023.

Richardson and Jacobs, a senior, are three-time All-WHAC honorees. Richardson was previously named to the Second Team in 2020 and 2022 while Jacobs was named Second Team in 2021 and First Team in 2022.

Fortress, a senior, Johnson, a junior, and Robinson, a freshman, received WHAC honors for the first time.

Bramlett, Richardson and juniors Rafe Jacobs and Sierra Tennyson made the Academic All-WHAC Team. Jacobs was also named to the WHAC Champions of Character Team.
