Adrian, Mich. -- The SHU Dance Team took first in tri-comp and second in the 2022 Saints Spectacular at home on Sunday, February 13th. Hosting the final dance competition of the season, the Saints finished the day with zero deductions between both the Saints Spectacular and the tri-comp.
Siena Heights earned a total of 74.75 points to take first in the tri-comp. Point Park finished second with a score of 72.05, and Madonna University placed third with a point total of 57.30 and 1.5 points in deductions.
In the Saints Spectacular, SHU earned a score of 70.95 with zero deductions to place second overall. St. Ambrose took first with a score of 85.45 and zero deductions. Point Park was third holding 69.75 points and zero deductions. Fourth place was just given to Madonna University had a deduction of 0.50 and a final tally of 63.35. Just behind fourth was Lawrence Tech in fifth who held 5.0 points worth of deductions and a final score of 63.35. Rounding off the competition was Saint Xavier in sixth place with a final tally of 50.50 points.
