Dance 2018 Season Recap

The Siena Heights dance team finished their season with a sixth place finish at the 2018 NAIA Competitive Cheer and Dance National Championships. Four dancers were honored with post-season awards.

The Most Improved Performer of the season was Caleigh Ringkvist while the Coach's Award went to Lauren Fultz and Victoria Owens.

Earning NAIA All-American Honorable Mention was Jenna Stahl and Owens. Named a Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete was Fultz.

The Siena Heights dance team was awarded the SHUspy for the Champion of Character Team. Both the cheer and dance teams volunteered many hours of service to the Hope Center, raising over $300 for the Hunter Brooks Hope Center Transportation Fund.

Head Coach Angie Heath was named the NAIA Competitive Dance Coach of the Year while also stepping up as the President of the NAIA Competitive Dance Coaches Association, the first president since the competitive cheer and competitive dance associations split.
