Cheerleading Places 5th at WHAC Championship

SYLVANIA, OHIO – The Siena Heights competitive cheerleading team scored 65.29 points to place fifth at the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Championship on Saturday. The Saints edged out Brescia to claim the fifth spot on the team standings.

Concordia (Mich.) won the conference tournament with a final score of 86.37. Lourdes was second with a final score of 78.67. Rochester fell to third with 76.45 points, while Aquinas was fourth with 73.17. Brescia totaled 64.06 points to finish ahead of seventh-place Point Park with 63.28. Madonna fell to the bottom slot with a final score of 56.83 points.

This is the final regular-season competition for the Siena Heights cheer team. The NAIA National Championships are on Friday and Saturday, March 11-12.
