KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Siena Heights cheerleading team junior Kourtney Ouellette was named to the NAIA All-American Honorable Mention Cheer team, as announced by the NAIA on Tuesday.

Athletes perform stunts in front of the qualifying competition judges and receive scores based on the quality of their routine. The performers must accumulate a predetermined score in order to achieve All-America status.

Ouellette was previously named to the All-WHAC Honorable Mention Team in the 2015-16 season.
