LAKE WALES, Fla. -- The Siena Heights baseball team dropped a 9-4 contest to Calumet on Tuesday.
Matt Love batted 2-for-4 with two runs and two stolen bases. Gino Hutchinson went 2-for-3 with a run scored.
The Saints took a 2-0 lead in the first inning on a sacrifice fly by Brock Olmstead and an RBI single by Nick Tiller.
Calumet answered with the next three runs before SHU grabbed its final lead at 4-3 in the fifth.
SHU pushed runs across via wild pitch and a Calumet error.
The Crimson Wave tied the contest at 4-4 in the sixth and then pushed across five in the eighth.
The Saints will be in action Thursday with Warner Tournament games against Dordt and host Warner.
