Baseball Falls to Rochester in WHAC Contest

ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. -- The Siena Heights baseball team competed in a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference contest to conclude it's Fall schedule on Sunday. The Saints dropped the contest 3-2.

The Warriors (2-4, 2-4 WHAC) scored twice in the first and once in the fourth to start with a 3-0 lead. The Saints were able to score twice in the ninth inning but it was not enough to take the lead.

Emmanuel Gimenez went 3-for-4 at the plate, knocking in one RBI. Brendan Green and Jack Malone scored the two runs for Siena Heights(3-9, 2-7 WHAC). 

Suffering the loss and making the start for the Saints was Tristan Roth who pitched the entire eight innings for the Saints. He finished with six strike outs. 

The Saints end their fall season after this weekend, they will resume play on February 24, 2018, when they head to Cumberland, Tenn.
